Meet our local English guide who will take you on an exploratory journey through the oldest medina of Morocco, Fes dates back to the ninth century. You will explore the tortuous and winding streets of the medina, where donkeys are the main mode of transport.
After breakfast, we will begin the tour of the medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world. Founded in 790 AD a medieval city from the Middle Ages and today. We will explore the narrow streets full of shops with fresh fruit, piles of spices, Berber carpets and many other Moroccan art objects. We will first visit the Royal Palace, the first and oldest university in the world (including Oxford or the Sorbonne). Then we will have lunch in a typical restaurant in the center of the medina. After lunch we will return to the hotel / Riad.
