Breakfast Starting the Day with the visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, then departure for Chefchaouen via the high way, then start to across the spectacular Rif mountains toward Ouazane and along incredibly dramatic landscapes, and then arrive into Chefchaouan, a beautifully sited beneath the raw peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, an artsy, blue-washed mountain village that feels like its own world. The old medina is a delight of Moroccan and Andalucian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue buildings and narrow lanes converging on busy Plaza Uta el-Hammam and it’s restored kasbah. Here you will spend a night in a nice accommodation with a panoramic view that allows you to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of the nature.
After your breakfast in the riad our authentic journey will start towards volubilis crossing via wazan and other rif villages, in volubilis we will discover the roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroocan history, after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 th centry heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, bab el mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay ismail shrine. After the visit of Meknes we will drive directly to Fes city where you will spend the night. Free Dinner and night in Riad.
You will have a guided tour to discover the medina and the famous Souks of Fes - its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets.. You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. Over Night in Riad.
After breakfast we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga. From here we reach Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils, and to the famous Dunes of Erg Chebbi, After a welcoming glass of tea in a Guest House near the dunes, we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.
We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes near the Hotel, After Breakfast. We will Macke the departer to cross the palm line valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive to Todgha Gorge. We will take a walk in the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our accommodation in the Dades Gorge. Dinner and night in Hotel.
After breakfast we will depart to Marrakech via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis then Arived to Ait Benhaddou and visit the World Heritage Site. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech. Free Dinner and Night in Riad.
Free Day in Marrakech, a city famous for its Jemaa el Fna, which will occupy much of our time: an amalgam of aromas, sounds and sensations unique. The city also has plenty of places you wander and enjoy: Gardens Majorelle, Menara, Tombs Saadianas, walks or the mellah medina (the old Jewish quarter), the route of the walls, the modern city (Gueliz) with Western lifestyles.Dinner and hotel accommodation as selected category.
